animation principles – squash and stretch
this was my drawings of the bouncing ball and how the ball squashes and stretches.
animation principles – solid drawings
this was my first lesson in animation principles and there were various activities done, for example sketching the hand and doing it with your eyes closed or with your weak hand and quick sketches in seconds etc.
animation principles – follow through and overlapping
as you can see from the pictures the follow through occurring for example the stick man bowling his arm still continues even after the ball is released
animation principles – arcs
a six week challenge, arcs as you can see from the pictures they all have arcs in them
animation principles – anticipation
this is another one of my six week challenges in my animation principles and as you can see the swing, the picture in the middle gives it that anticipation of the main swing that will occur
animation principles – timing
this is another one of the six week challenges in my animation principles lesson
Animation Principles – straight ahead animation
this was made in my animation principles lesson, straight ahead animation and sketching in between frames from key frames
Animation Principles – Secondary Action
i sketched a partner as she was on her laptop and i was spotting all the slight movements that were occurring, even though she was tranquil and no large movement was occurring for example, her back always moved and her fingers on the keyboard and habits like her feet moving as she was typing.
Reference towards the environment
this video helped me whilst i was doing some early sketches of the scenery and the environment i just mostly drew what i saw in the images and added my own twist to it to make it look abandoned and old!
